Darth Sidious Lightsaber

The Darth Sidious lightsaber is one of the most memorable because of how powerful the user is. Darth Sidious had excellent taste in lightsabers, constructed from phrik, which was indestructible.

These iconic red lightsabers were originally identical, but later, one had black material on the lightsaber, but people weren’t sure what the material was. They had a flat Eurotium blade emitter, which was finished with electrum. At the core of the lightsaber, there was a corrupted kyber crystal.

Darth Maul Lightsaber

While many fans hated the prequels, they gave us Darth Maul, one of the most iconic double-bladed lightsabers. This red saber first appeared in The Phantom Menace.

Maul used to twirl it like a helicopter blade, which served him well while fighting against Obi-wan and Qui-Gon.

However, this lightsaber had one weak spot. Obi-Warn eventually figured this out and struck the exposed and long hilt that connected the two blades.

Luke Skywalker’s Green Lightsaber

As one of the biggest Star Wars heroes, Luke Skywalker’s green lightsaber mimicked his master Obi-Wan’s.

Like Obi-Wan’s lightsaber, this one had a thin section but didn’t have the amber and gold inlay. However, the middle section of this lightsaber was much stronger than Obi-Wan’s.

Luke’s green lightsaber had silver rings to help improve the surface and provide a better grip. It is more stylish but gives more freedom to swing the lightsaber. The pommel and the activation panel are similar to Obi-Wan’s lightsabers, paying his respects to his master.

Ashoka’s Blue Lightsabers

Ashoka was a fan-favorite character if you ever watched The Clone Wars, an animated Star Wars show. She had many different lightsabers throughout her career as a Jedi, but the two blue variations were some of the coolest.

These lightsabers showed up towards the end of the animated series and were stylistically different from her green sabers.

These were more similar to her master Anakin Skywalker’s lightsaber designs. With these sabers, she could even battle Darth Maul on the planet of Mandalore.
