On Friday, the Supreme Court upheld the conviction and sentence of existence period presented to P Rajagopal, owner of the favorite Saravana Bhavan group of accommodations, and others for murdering a worker in October 2001 as he wanted to marry the deceased’s spouse.
Justices N V Ramana and M Shantanagoudar dismissed the appeals filed by way of the convicts.
On a plea made through senior recommend Sushil Kumar, acting for the convicts, the bench granted them time to give up until July 7.

The top court disregarded the appeals filed using Rajagopal and others, whose sentences changed into an improved lifestyle period, using the Madras High Court on March 20, 2009.
